Rockstar has announced that an extended look at Grand Theft Auto 6 will be broadcast on Netflix on August 27th at 12pm PT / 3pm ET / 8pm BST.

Following the Netflix broadcast, the video will be made available on Rockstar’s official YouTube channel six hours later, at 6pm PT / 9pm BT / 2am BST.

“See an extended look at “Grand Theft Auto VI”, the next evolution in the groundbreaking “Grand Theft Auto” series,” a description on Netflix reads. It’s currently not known how long the presentation will last, with neither Rockstar nor Netflix offering any specific details.

In a statement, Netflix’s VP of Nonfiction Series Brandon Riegg said: “Grand Theft Auto reveals have become cultural moments in their own right. The anticipation and fandom around Grand Theft Auto VI is unprecedented, and we’re honored that Rockstar Games has partnered with us to debut the next part of the Grand Theft Auto story with Netflix members first.

“It’s a reflection of what we hope Netflix is becoming: a place where the most ambitious storytelling, from any medium, can find the biggest possible audience.”

The Netflix broadcast will be our third look at GTA 6, with the first trailer releasing back in December 2023, followed by a second trailer in May 2025, which was accompanied by the first of two delay announcements.

Pre-orders for the Standard and Ultimate Editions opened in June, where it was confirmed that GTA 6 will be a digital-only release, with physical copies containing a code in a box.
