Rockstar has announced that the first trailer for the next Grand Theft Auto game will arrive next Tuesday, December 5th. The trailer will be released at 9am Eastern / 6am Pacific / 2pm GMT.
The news was confirmed by Rockstar with a teaser image shared on social media (shown below).
Rockstar had already revealed that the first GTA 6 trailer would arrive in early December as part of the developer’s 25th anniversary. However, no specific date was given until today.
Some fans have been prematurely introduced to the next GTA game though, as hackers obtained over an hour of development footage last September. Following the leak, Rockstar promised fans that they would get a proper introduction to the game “when it is ready”.
The leaked footage showed a glimpse of the open world, which seemingly confirmed reports that the next game would be returning to Vice City. The leaks also revealed that the game will feature both a male and female protagonist, with the duo supposedly inspired by Bonnie & Clyde.
