Bethesda have announced that the Switch 2 version Fallout 4: Anniversary Edition will be released digitally on February 24th.

The announcement was made during the latest Nintendo Direct Partner Showcase, which also confirmed Switch 2 releases for The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Remastered and Indiana Jones and the Great Circle.

A few reports and rumours suggested that the game could be shadow dropped today, but that turned out to be untrue.

The Anniversary Edition of the game packages the 2015 RPG with all six official expansions, in addition to over 150 pieces of community created Creation Club content. A new Creations menu will also feature in the Anniversary Edition, which Bethesda claims will make discovering and downloading content easier.

Fallout 4: Anniversary Edition was announced in October 2025, before releasing on Xbox Series X/S, PS5 and PC on November 10th 2025. Bethesda also promised that a Switch 2 version of the game was in the works, due for release sometime in 2026.
