Sony has announced that the next State of Play will take place this later this week. The presentation is scheduled to take place on Thursday, February 12 at 2pm PT / 5pm ET / 10pm GMT.
The presentation will last more than 60 minutes, featuring “news, gameplay updates, and announcements from game studios across the globe”.
“Tune in live this Thursday for 60+ minutes of news, gameplay updates, and announcements from game studios across the globe,” a post on the PlayStation Blog reads.
“February’s State of Play will spotlight eye-catching third-party and indie games headed to PS5, along with the latest from teams at PlayStation Studios.”
The last State of Play presentation took place in November 2025 and focussed on showcasing games from Japan, including Dragon Quest 7 Reimagined and Marvel Tokon: Fighting Souls. Prior to that, a State of Play in September 2025 featured a new look at titles such as Saros, Battlefield 6 and Marvel’s Wolverine.
