The release date for EA’s next football game, EA Sports FC 24, has seemingly leaked.
The news comes via Dealabs’ Billbil-kun, who has a strong track record when it comes to revealing release dates, as well as upcoming PS Plus titles. According to the report, EA Sports FC 24 will be released on September 29th, 2023.
Much like EA’s FIFA games, EA Sports FC 24 will have a standard and Ultimate Edition for players to choose from, with the Ultimate Edition granting players early access. Unlike the previous Ultimate Editions, EA Sports FC 24 will offer early access up to 7 days early, whereas last year’s title, FIFA 23, offered 3 days early access.
Players who are subscribed to EA Play will get access to a 10-hour trial of the game, which will also be available 7 days early.
Furthermore, a tweet from data miner Aggiornamenti Lumia (@ALumia_Italia) has seemingly confirmed that EA Sports FC 24 will be coming to last-generation consoles, with file sizes for the game’s upcoming beta having been revealed.
EA Sports FC begins a new era for Electronic Arts, with this year’s football game being the first to not feature the FIFA name following a split with the governing body earlier this year.
Back in April, the EA Sports FC brand was revealed, and with EA promising more details “this July”, it’s likely that we’ll get more information on “the future of football” in the coming weeks.
