Following a leak last weekend, Sony has confirmed October’s monthly games lineup for PS Plus subscribers. Once again, subscribers will receive 2 free games, with and additional game available to PS5 owners.
This month, PS5 players can pick up Hell Let Loose, a 50v50 WW2 shooter developed on Unreal Engine 4 by Black Matter. The developer’s debut game will be launching on PS Plus and is also coming to Xbox Series X|S. Hell Let Loose released on PC back in July, with the game currently sitting at 85% positive on Steam. For those not keen on paying £70 for Call of Duty: Vanguard on PS5 this year, perhaps this could be a worthy substitute.
Up next, and available to all subscribers is Mortal Kombat X. Released back in 2015, this entry was the franchise’s debut on the 8th generation of consoles. The series’ 10th outing garnered mostly positive reception from critics, with the PS4 version scoring 83 on Metacritic.
Finally, rounding out October’s lineup is PGA Tour 2K21, last year’s golf title from 2K and HB Studios. It looks as though there won’t be another PGA Tour game from the publisher though; EA Sports PGA Tour is set to become the exclusive home to Golf’s 4 major tournaments, including The Masters.
October’s monthly games will be available to PS Plus subscribers next Tuesday, October 5th. That means you have until then to secure this month’s lineup featuring Overcooked: All You Can Eat!, Hitman 2, and Predator: Hunting grounds.
