Microsoft has announced that Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Siege is coming to Xbox Game Pass for console this Thursday, October 22nd. The game will also be playable on Android devices with cloud gaming, part of Xbox Game Pass Ultimate.
The announcement comes after the official Xbox Game Pass Twitter account posted a cryptic teaser image on Saturday evening. The image (shown below) depicts a castle under siege with six rainbows in the backdrop – very clever.
It’s also worth noting that Rainbow Six Siege will be getting a free next-gen upgrade for Xbox Series X, Series S and PlayStation 5, with support for up to 120 fps and 4K resolution. Players will also be able to carry over all of their progression and unlocks to the next-gen version and engage in cross-generation matchmaking.
