Less than a week after Microsoft announced its acquisition of Zenimax Media, id Software’s latest release, DOOM Eternal, is coming to Xbox Game Pass.

The game will be making its way to Microsoft’s Netflix-like subscription service on October 1st for Xbox One owners. As for Game Pass members on PC, expect to see the fast-paced shooter “later in 2020” according to a post on Xbox Wire.

This announcement has come with good timing as id Software prepares to launch DOOM Eternal’s first expansion, The Ancient Gods: Part One on October 20th.

After Microsoft’s acquisition of Zenimax Media, this is certainly just the first of many from Bethesda’s catalogue making its way to Game Pass; the service’s value factor continues to grow.
