Square Enix has confirmed that Final Fantasy 7 Revelation will release on April 8th, 2027.

The game’s release date was revealed in a new trailer during today’s PlayStation State of Play, which included a first look at gameplay and the new region of Wutai.

Today we are thrilled to show you the world premiere of our gameplay footage, highlighting the exciting features you can experience in Revelation,” said game director Naoki Hamaguchi.

First revealed during this year’s Summer Game Fest, Final Fantasy 7 Revelation is the final part of the remake trilogy, which started in 2020 with Final Fantasy 7 Remake.

Unlike the first two parts of the trilogy, Revelation will not be released as a timed PlayStation exclusive and will instead launch simultaneously on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, PC, and Nintendo Switch 2.
