Kingdom Come: Deliverance developer Warhorse Studios has announced that development of an RPG set in Middle-Earth is currently underway.
The developer also confirmed that a “new Kingdom Come adventure” is also in the works. “You might have heard the rumours,” the developer said in a post on X. “It’s time to reveal what we are working on”.
“We’re excited to tell you more when the time is right.”
Warhorse Studios’ last game, Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2, released last year to an overwhelmingly positive reception from both critics and fans alike, scoring 89 on Metacritic.
The game also went on to receive nominations for Best RPG, Best Narrative and Game of the Year at last year’s Game Awards, losing out to Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 in all three categories.
