The Pokémon Company have confirmed when the next Pokémon Presents will take place. Airing on Friday, February 27th at 6:00 a.m. PST / 9:00 a.m. EST / 2:00 p.m. GMT / 3:00 p.m. CET, the livestream will be shown on Pokémon’s official YouTube and Twitch channels.
February 27th is known as Pokémon Day, with this year marking 30 years since the first games released in Japan.
“To celebrate the holiday, The Pokémon Company group is inviting Trainers around the world to tune in to a Pokémon Presents video presentation on Pokémon Day for exciting updates and announcements across the Pokémon franchise,” The Pokémon Company said in a statement.

While unconfirmed, many fans are anticipating that the Pokémon Presents will give us our first look at the series’ tenth generation of games. More news regarding Pokémon Champions is also expected, with the upcoming game set to replace the mainline games at this year’s VGC world championship in August.
Prior to the presentation, The Pokémon Company revealed that Pokémon FireRed and LeafGreen are being rereleased. The Game Boy Advance classics will be made available following next week’s Pokémon Presents.
Unlike other Game Boy Advance titles, FireRed and LeafGreen will not be included as part of Nintendo Switch Online, selling for $19.99 / £16.99 each.
