It’s been announced that Marvel Rivals will be released on December 6th 2024.

The release date was revealed as part of Gamescom’s Opening Night Live event, with a trailer featuring Captain America and The Winter Soldier as the next two heroes joining the roster. It was also confirmed that all heroes will be free “at launch and beyond!”

Announced back in March for PC, followed by a console announcement in May, Marvel Rivals is a free-to-play 6v6 hero shooter from NetEase Games. Similar to games such as Overwatch and Team Fortress 2, Marvel Rivals has teams of Marvel heroes and villains face off to complete various objectives. A closed beta for the game was held in July, receiving a mostly positive reception.

Marvel Rivals will launch on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S and PC via Steam and the Epic Games Store.
