Fallout TV show will return for a second season

Amazon has confirmed that the Fallout TV show will return for a second season.

“Wouldn’t want to keep you on the edge of your seat, now, would we?” a post from the show’s official X account read.

“See you back in the Wasteland for SEASON 2.”

Details such as production status and a potential release date are still unknown.

Last week, Variety reported that the second season will be shot in California, with the streaming giant receiving $25 million in tax credits from the California Film Commission.

The show’s success has also led to a large boost in sales and player counts across several Fallout titles, with Fallout 4 topping the European charts after week-on-week sales jumped by 7500%. Fallout 3 (10th), Fallout: New Vegas (9th) and Fallout 76 (8th) also broke into the top ten, with Fallout 76 also breaking its all-time peak concurrent player count on Steam.
