Nintendo has announced that the next Nintendo Direct livestream will take place this Thursday, September 14, at 7 a.m. PT / 10 a.m. ET / 3 p.m. GMT / 4 p.m. CEST.
The presentation will last roughly 40 minutes and will focus on Nintendo Switch titles releasing this winter.
The last Nintendo Direct took place in June, with highlights such as Pikmin 4, a Super Mario RPG remake and the next 2D Mario game: Super Mario Bros. Wonder.
Many have speculated that this could be the Switch’s final year, as a new console is expected to release sometime next year. Back in July, VGC reported that development kits for Nintendo’s next console have been sent out to “key partner studios”, with Nintendo reportedly planning a launch in the second half of 2024. The report also confirmed that the console can be used in portable mode, much like the Nintendo Switch.
