The next Nintendo Direct takes place on Wednesday

Nintendo has announced that its next Nintendo Direct livestream will take place tomorrow, June 21st, at 7am PT / 10am ET / 3pm BST.

The presentation will last “roughly 40 minutes” and will mainly feature Nintendo Switch titles, including new details on Pikmin 4, which is set to release next month. The announcement has been deemed well-timed by some, as beyond Pikmin 4, the remainder of Nintendo’s 2023 looks rather sparse.

So, what could we expect to see tomorrow? We could possibly get more information on Pokemon Scarlet and Violet’s upcoming two-part expansion The Hidden Treasure of Area Zero. While these announcements are typically saved for dedicated Pokemon Directs, details such as a release date for part one could be confirmed at tomorrow’s Direct. Perhaps we’ll also see more from the game show-inspired party game Everybody 1-2-Switch

As for Pikmin 4, expect to see more from its character creation and multiplayer offering.

The last Nintendo Direct was held back in February, which also clocked in around the 40 minute mark. Highlights included Metroid Prime Remastered, Game Boy and Game Boy Advance games coming to Switch Online, and the announcement of a new Professor Layton game.
