The Pokemon Center store returns to London this month

The Pokemon Company has announced that the Pokemon Center pop-up store will return to the UK for the 2023 European International Championships, which runs from April 14th to April 16th. Both the pop-up store and championships will be at the ExCeL exhibition centre in London.

The store will be open to the general public, but reservation slots are also available. The Pokemon Center is open from 8:30am to 6pm on April 14, 8am to 6pm on April 15th, and 8am to 4pm on April 16th. As is tradition with Pokemon Center stores, visitors will be able to pick up a variety of exclusive merchandise such as plushies, trading card game accessories and apparel.

This occasion will be the third time that a pop-up Pokemon Center has come to London, with the most recent one being a part of the 2022 Pokemon World Championships held last August. The Pokemon Center’s highly anticipated UK debut came in 2019 at Westfield Shepard’s Bush. Despite its immense success, the store suffered from extremely long queues, with some fans waiting up to 5 hours to get in. Such popularity also meant that stock rapidly dwindled, with many items being completely sold out days before the store’s closure.
