Horizon Forbidden West, the sequel to Guerrilla Games’ 2017 breakout hit Horizon Zero Dawn, will be getting a State of Play livestream this Thursday, May 27th at 10PM UK time.

Unlike last month’s State of Play starring Ratchet & Clank, it appears this broadcast will be dedicated to showing off Aloy’s latest adventure, with Guerrilla Games promising a 14 minute gameplay reveal; a “uniquely crafted countdown” was also teased, what that means exactly is yet to be seen.

It’s been almost a year since Horizon Forbidden West was announced during Sony’s big PS5 showcase in June 2020. Since then, very little has been revealed, but it was confirmed that the game will be coming to PS4 in addition to Sony’s shiny new system.

Horizon Forbidden West is yet to receive a release date, but the game is still slated to release sometime in 2021.
