January’s Game Pass picks include The Medium and Yakuza remasters

Microsoft have announced the latest set of Game Pass picks for January.

Xbox Series X|S console exclusive The Medium and The Yakuza Remastered Collection are among this month’s headline additions.

Coming day one to Microsoft’s subscription service, The Medium is a psychological horror from Bloober Team set within two realities: The real world and the spirit world. Players assume the role of a medium with access to both of these worlds as they search for answers to a tragedy which took place within a hotel resort years prior.

The game also supports up to 4K resolution, Ray Tracing and 120 frames per second on consoles.

As reported on Sunday, Control is coming to PC this Thursday (January 21st). In addition, Desperados 3 and Donut County come to console, PC and cloud streaming; The Outer Wilds also comes to cloud streaming the same day.

Next week, Mechanical Head Studios’ 8-bit side scroller Cyber Shadow comes to all Game Pass platforms on January 26th. Finally, The Medium and The Yakuza Remastered Collection arrive on January 28th, with both games also coming to console, PC and cloud streaming.

With the plethora of titles coming to Xbox Game Pass this month, the following titles are leaving Game Pass on January 29th:

  • Death Squared (Console)
  • Death’s Gambit (PC)
  • Final Fantasy XV (Console and PC)
  • Fishing Sim World: Pro Tour (Console and PC)
  • Gris (PC)
  • Indivisible (Console and PC)
  • Reigns: Game of Thrones (PC)
  • Sea Salt (Console and PC)
