The Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War beta will be available to pre-load from tomorrow, Treyarch has announced.
PS4 players who’ve pre-ordered a digital copy of the game will be able to pre-load the beta tomorrow as part of their early access pre-order bonus. Early access to the beta begins on PS4 this Friday, October 8th at 10AM PT/3PM ET/6PM BST. The beta will then open up to all PS4 players two days later on October 10th.

Xbox and PC players who pre-order digitally will get access to the beta the following week on October 15th, with all remaining players able to join from October 17th.
In regards to what content is in the beta, Treyarch is yet to reveal anything, however it would be safe to assume all the content from last month’s alpha will be included. In addition, there’s a good chance we’ll see new weapons, a first look at the progression system, and perhaps a new map or two.
With just over a month to go till release, and the next generation of consoles coming around the same time, it’s safe to say excitement levels are certainly rising.
