Day’s Gone, the PS4-exclusive open world zombie game, has been delayed till 2019.

In a statement issued to Eurogamer, Sony confirmed that “Days Gone will now be releasing in 2019 and we will keep you updated on the launch date.”

The game, which is currently being developed by Syphon Filter and Sony Bend has never really had much attention outside of appearances at events such as E3; perhaps this lack of coverage was enough to suggest that a delay might have been on the cards.

With Sony possibly looking to market other titles such as Spider-Man and The Last of Us: Part 2, there is a chance it could be a bit longer before we hear more about Days Gone.
