Activision and Treyarch have confirmed that this year’s Call of Duty is Black Ops 4. No details about the game are known so far, but a community event is scheduled to take place on May 17th as part of a bigger reveal.

The most interesting part of this is announcement however, is that Black Ops 4 will be launching globally on October 12th, almost a month earlier than the franchise’s usual release period in early November – perhaps Red Dead Redemption 2 has even scared off Activision’s tentpole franchise.
