Sony have Finally revealed the PlayStation plus games line-up for the month of march, and for PS4 owners in particular, it’s a good one. First up is this month’s PS4 games. Starting from next Tuesday (March 6th), PlayStation Plus subscribers can get access to FromSoftware’s award-winning action RPG Bloodborne, and Insomniac Games’ wonderful reimagining of the original Ratchet & Clank.
Released back in 2015, Bloodborne was praised for its brilliant art direction and variety in addition to its familiar, yet more frenetic feeling combat; players will have to use every ounce of skill at their disposal to overcome the city of Yharnam’s many challenges.
Almost 14 years after we were first introduced to the lovable Lombax and his shiny companion, Insomniac Games is taking us back to where it all began with a re-imagining of Ratchet & Clank which is also based off the movie that released around the same time. Originally released in 2016, this vibrant retelling of the duo’s origin story was praised for staying true to the original while also modernising many aspects from the franchise’s initial debut back in 2002.
As for PS3 and Vita, PlayStation Plus members can look forward to Legend of Kay, Mighty No. 9, Claire: Extended Cut and Bombing Busters. Except for Legend of Kay, all these titles are also Cross Buy with PS4, meaning you can enjoy almost all of this month’s games line-up on 1 console.
PlayStation also provided an important update regarding the subscription service. As of March 8th 2019, PS3 and Vita games will no longer be included in the monthly games line-up, with the focus shifting solely to PS4. PlayStation were also quick to assure members that any games you have received for these platforms will remain accessible to you so long as you’re a PlayStation Plus member.
Hopefully we’ll continue to see a great selection of games for PS3 and Vita despite the platforms being in their final year of the service.
