When it comes to style in Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced, there are plenty of options. That said, many require you to complete certain actions or missions to unlock them, so we’ve created this handy guide to unlocking every outfit in the game.

DLC Outfits
Altaïr Ibn-LaʼAhad’s Robes
Unlocked in the Animus Exchange for 3000 Animus Keys.
Brown Cloak
Found in a chest at the governor’s compound in Havana (coordinates: 204,573).
Captain Drake’s Outfit
Found in a chest on Sacrifice Island (coordinates: 23,552).
Captain Morgan’s Redingote
Found in a chest on Black Island (coordinates: 914,618).
Connor’s Outfit
Unlocked in the Animus Exchange for 3000 Animus Keys.
Crimson Cloak
Before you can obtain this outfit, you’ll first need to pick up the treasure map in the warehouse in Havana (coordinates 205,600).
Once you have the map, head to Anotto Bay (coordinates: 590,245) and dive down below the area in the image below:
Once you’ve navigated through the underwater section and cleared out the pirates inside, you’ll be able to dig up a chest at this location to acquire the outfit:
Dark Animus Corsair Robes
Unlocked by reaching level 18 in the ‘Eye in the Dark’ Animus project.
Duncan Walpole’s Robes
Obtained in Sequence 1, Mission 1: “Edward Kenway”.
Edward Kenway’s Robes
Obtained in Sequence 2, Mission 6: “The Treasure Fleet).
Edward The Legend Outfit
Unlocked after completing the side mission “Former Glories”, which is accessible after purchasing all hideout upgrades.
Explorer Outfit
Found in an unmarked chest (coordinates: 28,292). Once you arrive at the coordinates, you’ll need to dive down to access the chest.
Ezio Auditore’s Robes
Unlocked in the Animus Exchange for 3000 Animus Keys.
Feline Pelt Outfit
Unlock the Treasure Dealer in Great Inagua; the outfit can then be crafted with the following materials:
- 2x Ocelot Pelt
- 6x Jaguar Pelt
- 1x White Jaguar Pelt
- 2x Black Jaguar Pelt
Foreign Diplomat Disguise
Earned by completing Sequence 12, Mission 1: “A Governor No Longer”.
Governor’s Outfit
Before you can obtain this outfit, you’ll first need to pick up the treasure map in the warehouse in Nassau.
Once you have the map, head to Isla Providencia and search at the coordinates listed on the map (487,11). There you’ll find a chest containing the outfit.
Haytham Kenway’s Overcoat
Unlocked after collecting and displaying all character portraits in the Great Inagua manor.
Master Assassin Outfit
Obtained after completing the “Art Lover” side mission. This mission will pop up more than once on your map, as your art collection grows. To get the outfit, you will need to collect 30 pieces of art.
Mayan Outfit
Obtained after solving all the Mayan Stelae puzzles and completing the side mission ‘Mayan Mysteries’.
Merchant Outfit
Upgrade the general store to level 2; you can then purchase it at any general store for 3000 Reales.
Naoe’s Robes
Unlocked by reaching level 12 in the ‘Riptides’ Animus project.
Officer’s Outfit
The outfit can be found on Principe Island, which is unlocked by completing Sequence 9, Mission 2: Trust is Earned. The outfit can then be obtained from a chest in the area. (coordinates: 116,11).
Pirate Captain Outfit
Before you can obtain this outfit, you’ll first need to pick up the treasure map in Corozal (coordinates: 11,242).
Once you have the treasure map, the outfit can be found in a chest at Ambergris Key Cave (coordinates:30,159). To get to the chest, you’ll need to dive below the entrance to the area, then follow the underwater path to the inside.
The chest can be found directly opposite these ruins:
Pirate Cloak
Available to purchase in the general store after completing Sequence 4, Mission 1: “This Old Cove”.
Politician’s Outfit
Upgrade the general store to level 2; you can then purchase it at any general store for 3000 Reales.
Privateer Outfit
Upgrade the general store to level 2; you can then purchase it at any general store for 3000 Reales.
Shark Hunter Outfit
Unlock the Treasure Dealer in Great Inagua; the outfit can then be crafted with the following materials:
- 1x Great White Shark Bone
- 2x Bull Shark Skin
- 2x Hammerhead Shark Bone
Shade and Shadow Robes
To get this outfit, you will need to unlock the Treasure Dealer in Great Inagua and locate 4 preserved map pieces. The map pieces are found after redoing any previously completed warehouse raids. Warehouses reset after 2 hours and can be found in the following locations:
- Havana
- Black Island
- Nassau
- Cat Island
- Matanzas
- Tortuga
- New Bone
- Kingston (North)
- Kingston (South)
Once you have the 4 preserved map pieces, return to the Treasure Dealer to restore the map for 500 Reales and 150 Tobacco. Once restored, head to the coordinates listed on the map (14,554) to find a chest containing the outfit.
Stealth Outfit
Unlocked by completing 16 Assassin Contracts.
Stede Bonnet’s Attire
Found in a chest on Mystery Island (coordinates: 913,124).
Templar Armor
Unlocked after completing all the Templar Hunt missions and obtaining all Templar Keys. The outfit can then be acquired from the manor in Great Inagua.
Whaler Outfit
Unlock the Treasure Dealer in Great Inagua; the outfit can then be crafted with the following materials:
- 2x Killer Whale Skin
- 2x Humpback Whale Skin
Yasuke’s Yoroi
Unlocked by reaching level 12 in the ‘Undertow’ Animus project.
DLC Outfits
Blackbeard’s Crimson Outfit
Awarded as a pre-order bonus.
Dragonscale Armor
Unlocked by purchasing the Dragon Storm Character Pack in the store.
